On February 1st, Christian Duvernois was invited to Rizzoli Bookstore for a discussion with architect William Hefner, founder of the Los Angeles-based architecture firm Studio
William Hefner and the author of the recently published “Chateau des Fleurs.”
Published by Pointed Leaf Press, this 208-page book documents the creation of a unique private house built in Los Angeles. Taking nearly six years to complete, the 60,000 sq foot mansion was inspired by classic French chateaux, galvanized by iconic French locations like the Loire Valley and the historical Burgundy.
