The weight of real stone can make it difficult to use extensively on rooftops. The fire code in New York prohibits extensive use of wood on rooftops. Therefor, porcelain, with its light weight and beautiful textures, can be a great choice.
CDL/S is using this material on the Bleecker Street rooftop, among others. The light grey color will not retain heat and maintains a clean yet natural look.
