An Artificial Garden in Greenwich Village
A natural or wild garden is often preferred, however in urban hubs where weather conditions fluctuate and space is limited, implementing an artificial garden can be a great alternative.
For our Terrace Viewing Garden project, we’ve transformed a Greenwich Village apartment encased by a long, linear balcony, into a lush urban oasis coated in faux ferns, vines and evergreens. On a day-to-day, practical level, faux foliage and artificial lawn is easy to maintain and clean, and can be hypoallergenic.
There is also an aesthetic element that an artificial garden offers to a space — it can immediately conceal harsh aspects of terrace, such as utilities and ventilation shafts, whilst simultaneously complementing the interior architecture of a separate area.
