HANDMADE: Rudolph Serra & Anna Strickland focuses on two distinguished practices that reveal the potential of the hand and its gestures in creating objects and images that invite contemplation. In the artworks exhibited, the hand is present as a trace, subject and/or metaphor. This concept echoes not only in the individual pieces but also through their juxtaposition in the gallery space – bringing to light expressive qualities throughout the interplay of forms and concepts.
